• Stolen from Kotzbrocken Records :-) Four years after the magnificent ‘Virulent’ album, MANEGE FREI is finally back with a new release aptly titled ‘War Times’!!! The band really knows how to adapt their songs, album titles and artwork to current events and knock them out of the park. Of the 7 songs in total, 6 are completely new and the smash hit ‘Scum of Society’ has been re-recorded. In contrast to their last releases, the songs on the upcoming new vinyl don't come across as combative as usual, but rather misanthropic/depressive and extremely pissed off. But dark times like the current ones (wars, crazy autocrats/dictators, armament and the shift to the right all over the world) naturally also produce dark lyrics and music. MANEGE FREI still make really cool, socially critical, dirty and angry HC/punk, and even though reviews still compare them to bands like RAWSIDE, BONEHOUSE or RECHARGE, the band has clearly found its own style. Unlike all the other releases by the guys, the 12" LP, limited to 300 copies, is only available in one colour this time: black!!! In addition, the edition is hand-numbered and a lyric sheet, download code, poster (DIN A2) and stickers are also included.
