• In 2004, the LP of the Leipzig veterans DER SCHWARZE KANAL was released. With songs like "Anders sein", "Stacheldraht", "Solidarität", "Schwarz Rote Fahnen",... the everyday life in the GDR, as the band members had to experience it, was processed. The LP was sold out in no time, just like the 2007 repress, and has become a sought-after rarity. Now this exceptional album is finally available again. Newly remastered and supplemented by a live LP with several additional songs. The whole thing comes with a thick booklet containing the lyrics and a detailed interview.
